Like so many of its neighboring cities, Lenexa Kansas City Council has voted for Google Fiber.  Wedged between Shawnee and Olathe, Lenexa with join it’s neighbors to gain access to the fastest Internet in the US.

Google Fiber technicians, it would seem, are waiting with baited breath for each new Kansas City Area town to join the pack.  Google Fiber is spreading like a web into all the neighboring cities so fast that more rural parts of Kansas might see Fiber sooner than the Rural Broadband project.

Kansas in general is one of the most flat states in the union, it could stand to reason that ambitious entrepreneurs might take to settings up a their own sub-networks over the air.

Lenexa residents should be aware that they are still subject to the same great deals that are their KC Area Google Fiber friends.
